Amelia's Bali Kit
How It Works
Your body isn't built for Bali. Not yet.

Different water, different bacteria, different climate. Different sanitisation needs. Your gut needs time to adjust, and most travellers don't give it that time. They land, eat, drink, and by day two their stomach has other plans.

Amelia's Bali Kit gives your body the support it needs to adapt faster and recover quicker if something does go wrong.

What's Inside (and Why)
Every item in the kit has a specific job. Nothing is a filler. Nothing is there for show.
S. boulardii (Probiotic Yeast)
What it does: S. boulardii is a probiotic yeast that supports your digestive system when it's exposed to unfamiliar food and water. Unlike regular probiotics, it is resistant to stomach acid, which means it actually reaches your gut intact.
When to take it: Start taking it daily from the day before you fly. Continue throughout your trip. One capsule per day with or without food.
Why it matters: This is the most researched travel probiotic in the world. It helps your gut maintain its balance when everything around it is changing.
ORS Sachets (Oral Rehydration Salts)
What it does: Replaces the electrolytes and fluids your body loses through heat, humidity, activity, or stomach upset. Water alone is not enough in Bali's climate.
When to take it: Mix one sachet with water after long days in the sun, after high activity, or at the first sign of dehydration, headache, fatigue, dry mouth, dark urine.
Why it matters: Dehydration is the silent trip killer in Bali. Most travellers drink water but don't replace the salts they're sweating out. ORS fixes that.
Activated Charcoal
What it does: Binds to toxins and unwanted substances in your stomach before they can be absorbed. It is a well-established travel essential for occasional stomach discomfort.
When to take it: Take at the first sign of an upset stomach. Important, take it separately from other supplements, medications, or meals, at least 2 hours apart, as it can reduce their effectiveness.
Why it matters: This is your emergency response. If something you ate doesn't agree with you, charcoal helps limit the damage.
Zinc
What it does: Supports your immune system and overall wellbeing while your body is under travel stress. Zinc levels drop when your body is fighting unfamiliar environments.
When to take it: One tablet per day, taken with food.
Why it matters: Travel depletes zinc faster than normal. Keeping your levels up helps your body handle the adjustment.

Also Included
Compact hand sanitiser: Because not every warung has a sink.
Resealable travel pouch: Keeps everything together and fits in any bag, backpack, or carry-on.
